How to Cut and Download a Clip from a YouTube Video
Paste the video URL
Paste a YouTube link into the Download tab. Once the URL is recognised, the Clip button next to the format options becomes available.
Open the clip editor
Press Clip to open the editor. For YouTube links the video loads in an embedded player so you can watch while you choose your cut points.
Set the start and end
Drag the range slider, or play the video and press Set Start and Set End to capture the exact moment you are watching. You can also type timestamps directly as HH:MM:SS.
Add more clips if needed
Press Add Clip to cut another segment from the same video — up to 5 in total. Each clip has its own start and end, and the play icon previews any of them.
Choose merged or separate
With more than one clip, pick Merged to join them into a single video, or Separate to receive each clip as its own file.
Confirm and download
Press Confirm Clips, then start the download. Only the segments you selected are processed and delivered.
